“Don’t be such a baby.”
“I am not a baby!”
“Just let me see.”
“No. It’s fine. Leave it alone.”
"The reception doesn’t start for another hour. Let me see.”
“Fine.”
He lay back on the bed they would share that night before the honeymoon.
The searing pain that ran up his leg made him scream. When it died, he heard his blushing bride’s laughter.
The bandage over his new tattoo had gotten stuck to his pant leg and torn free as she pushed it up. Great. Now the surprise was ruined.
“Aw, it’s so cute!” she said between chuckles.
Today I am fortunate enough to be posting on Elicia Seawell's, D.C. McMillan's and Savannah Chase's blog. To D.C.'s readers I bring a little levity in the form of fictitious sex. Let's face it, the fantasy kicks reality's butt, until your alone in your bed waiting for your partner because reading got you fired up. :) For Savannah's blog I wrote about my vampires. Everyone's vampires come from a slightly different mythos. Head over here to learn a bit about mine.
And after that visit all the blogs doing Flasher Fiction Friday. 100 words based on the pictures above.

Eden Baylee
I'd like to introduce to Eden Baylee. She is the author of a paired anthology set, Fall into Winter and Spring into Summer. I like the titles of your paired anthologies. Is there a reason you wrote them in the order you did?
I wrote Fall into Winter first. The book was published in December 2010, but I wanted to launch it for Valentine’s Day February 2011, which made more sense for a book of erotica. I always knew I would complete all the seasons with my books, so Spring into Summer was the next one.
Most of your writing seems to be in short form (stories in an anthology, flash fiction). Are you planning on writing something longer or sticking with your strength?

Tantalyzing Tuesday - Kimono
For all the other Tantalizing Tuesday Teasers, go here. And now, my pic:
Nabiki followed her sisters. Her kimono was plainer than theirs, her first real one. It had belonged to Yukiko and Sakura before her. They had each worn it proudly, as she did now.
“Here, Nabiki,” Yukiko said to her. “Enter this booth.” Sakura began giggling as soon as she and Yukiko had stopped.
“Why?” she asked, curious at their response.
“Because you’re a woman now.”
Trusting her sisters, Nabiki entered the booth, silk curtain falling behind her.
“Another of Genma’s daughters,” the man in the booth said. “Lovely as her sisters. Come here, child.”
He began easing her kimono open. At first Nabiki struggled, but the man put his mouth to her neck. Then she could smell his musk. Clouding her mind, he became more handsome, more alluring. She had only just begun enjoying touching herself, but after inhaling his scent, it seemed all her skin prickled and tingled. Every brush of his fingers sent her awareness further from the festival to focus on his mouth, his fingers, the rod prodding her thigh. She was naive to that, but in that moment, knew what she wanted to do with it, knew instinctively where it should go.
“Yes, child. That’s it.”

Lokians and Aaron Dennis
Jumping back into the saddle. And here to help me is Aaron Dennis. He is here to tell us a little about his writing experience and his book series.
You write hard sci fi. Not just hard in the extra-terrestrial sense, hard in the researched plausible science sense.
How much work did that take?
Hours... many, many hours of research and double checking. It was actually quite a bit of fun. While I've always
had a propensity for theoretical sciences, I had an opportunity to play with basic knowledge. I bought an
astrophysics textbook and read through it, downloaded several term published term papers, and existing studies.
Also I watched some youtube vids on magnetics and downloaded available schematics on rocket engine design.
Naturally, plugging it all in the story would have made it more educational and less thrilling, not what I wanted,
so I just alluded to facts.
Do you have any science degrees or other academic learning that you draw on?
