Another Tuesday, another piece of the story revolving around Yuki and Eiko. We're approaching the twist in this tale! I hope you like it. Check all the other teases by hopping to our blog.
Eiko spent several more nights at Yuki’s house, using the vibrator on one another and discovering more places to kiss and touch until Yuki thought she might know Eiko’s body as well as her own. Better. She had seen parts of Eiko, lavished them, when she’d only been able to feel the same on herself.
Yuki didn’t know what women did to signify their deepening relationship but had decided to ask Eiko to join her in her small apartment. There was scarcely enough room, but Yuki would sell anything she didn’t absolutely need for the opportunity to see Eiko every morning as well as night.
Before Yuki could make her offer, Eiko had one of her own.
“Come home with me tonight.”
Yuki had presumed Eiko didn’t invite Yuki to her home because Mina obviously didn’t like her. “What about Kita Mina?”
“She has gone,” Eiko explained. “It is only me now.”
“I would be honored,” Yuki replied in earnest, eager to see where her lover lived. This would be an ideal opportunity to give Eiko the calligraphy that was ready to be hung.
It was farther away from the campus than Yuki expected. Eiko suggested they pass through a park along the way, stopping to admire the flushing buds of spring.
The Willows is a resort town run by vampires, werewolves and witches. Here, their true identities are kept secret from humans, and intimate relations between the individual clans are strictly forbidden.
When it becomes known that the vampire Amberlyn has fallen in love with the werewolf Kane, the tedious line of their co-existence has been crossed. Caught in the crossfire of this revelation, Drake, the vampire clan leader and Amberlyn’s maker, is killed along with an innocent witch. These deaths spark a series of horrific events leading to an all out War In The Willows.
Unexpected close encounters, bodies ripe with need, and situations beyond their control lead to forbidden relationships. Now three vampires, a witch, a werewolf and a human must ride along the edges of the rules. They will attempt once unthinkable romantic entanglements despite all those who oppose their relationships, while fighting for their lives as well.
With the Willows full of violence and bloodshed, meetings and magic amiss, will the clans ever be able to find peace among them again? Or, will this war destroy the Willows?
In Book 1, Amberlyn’s vampire brother, Isaac, always one to kick ass first and deal with the consequences later, kidnaps a witch, Winter. He intends to find out what type of retaliation the witch clan is planning against the vampires and werewolves. In doing so, he finds so much more then he bargained for.
How does a twentieth century woman take back control over her own body? By giving that control to the right man.

Darkness lurks in the shadows…
Fenris is the Captain of the Guard for the Queen of the Dark Court. For centuries he’s secured the barrier between the human world and Faery, part of a Protectorate that keeps humans blissfully ignorant of the beings hidden in their midst. On a night filled with wild magic, there will be blood and some of it might just be given willingly.

His life and eternity are dedicated to their service—until those very gods suddenly disappear, and leave Fallen’s fate in the hands of another. The key to his salvation? A woman whose beauty haunted him through the ages.
Zoe Mesha lives in the shadows, hiding from the sun and the sickness it brings. She dreams of warm beaches, basking under a pale blue sky, and a man with the most unusual eyes. Zoe is certain her dream man doesn’t exist and that his amber orbs are a figment of her fascination with the sun. But when he comes to her rescue one night she can’t shake off a crippling tide of fear as they come face to face with each other. Convincing Zoe to look beyond his vampirism and see him for the man within will not be an easy task. If anything, it will be the greatest battle of Fallen’s life. One he must win, at all costs.

It was down to me to save him and I wouldn't fail. I'd stayed alive for eighty years, but matters of the heart were definitely harder than taking a life.

Maybe Another Time: A Standalone On The Edge Novella by Kallysten
After a century and a half, Lucien has no illusions about vampires being treated fairly by humans. All he hopes for is to find willing prey to feed from without having to kill—and occasional company to break the monotony of lonely nights. A large scar, however, a frightening souvenir from his siring, scares away many humans, and more often than not he gets kicked out of blood bars and dance clubs for little more than his appearance.
When a new club opens in town that is touted as a meeting place for vampires and humans, he reluctantly gives it a try. On his first night there, he is pleasantly surprised… until the young woman with whom he shares a glass of wine and pleasant conversation at the bar realizes what he is.
If Zoe had had her wish, the bachelorette party for her best friend would have taken place anywhere but at On The Edge—anywhere vampires are not welcomed so openly. Unlike the rest of the bridal party, Zoe has a healthy wariness of vampires... Or could it be more than wariness, and less than healthy?
Every aspect of her life seems governed by patterns she can’t overcome, from the way she yields in conflicts to her inability to believe anyone might be interested in her extra curves. Could changing one thing—her fear of vampires—be the one small step that starts her on a new life journey?
Immortal Hearts by Muffy Wilson
"This is the story about my death.
It is not as it should be but as it is.
It is not how I expected but, in the end, how I wanted.
It is not too soon but sooner than I thought for my years.
What it is?
It is perfect.
I am the sun, the wind, the stars in your eyes as you gaze into the moonlit heavens.
I am you, with you, in you—under your skin.
I reside in your heart.
And yet, is it not as it should be because it is our destiny.
It is our hearts, eternally entwined.
It is us—Immortal.
I am one with the night.
I am one with my love.
The platinum orb rose slowly above the burning, flaming horizon.
Like the moon, I am refreshed, now, in the shadows, adorned by diamonds and surrounded by glittering, shooting madness.
The sun so loves the moon that it dies each sunset that the moon may rise another night to honor the darkness.
I blossom as the day withers and fades into the black satin folds of the moon’s embrace.
My joy ignites as the stars unveil their jewel-like splendor.
Inevitably, a midnight tear bids a love so light in darkness adieu with the fall of the morning moon to welcome her fiery radiance anew.
And I am born to the night with, and by, my love.

Happy Saturday! I have a sample from a WIP, Changes, that is still looking for a home. I can't wait to let Heidi loose on my unsuspecting readers! (Oh, who am I kidding, my readers have to be suspecting something like this. LOL)
“Hey, sweet thing, can I see that ass again?” The rough man leaned on the scaffolding, stretching his shirt across his chest.
“Maybe.” Heidi walked past him into the site.
“Those don’t look steel-toed to me.” He nodded at her boots.
“No? Let’s find out.” She brought her foot up into his groin. The kick had force but wasn’t intended to do real harm. He buckled over and Heidi pushed him, making him fall to his knees. She pulled the gate shut, hiding them from the road and the passersby.
“Felix? Are you ready for me?”
“My name isn’t—“ He was silenced by the leather glove she shoved in his mouth. He brought his hand up and she pulled her top off.
“Behave, Felix, or I’ll go home right now.”

Welcome back to the MidWeekTease. I'm still offering snippets from the sixth Blue Moon House book. Today I have a m/m encounter when Nicholas puts himself out with the whores of the house.
Rather than stand with the johns , he leaned on the wall near Doreen, eyes wandering over the crowd. He thought his expression spoke his intent. One by one, he undressed each man in his mind. After six, a man came forward.
“Are you... Do you work here?”
“I’d hardly call it work,” Nick answered, grinning. “But, you might pay for me as you would the others.”
The man didn’t look back and some of the faces behind him were shocked, scandalized. Others looked at him anew, considering.
“I would like that,” he said, nodding to Doreen. “If I may?”
Doreen, unused to the position of madam, was slow to respond. “Of course. Um... Nicholas. The third room on the right?”
He nodded and walked ahead of his john, making no move to touch him. The man seemed a little confused as Nick opened the door, but once the door closed, any uncertainty evaporated with Nicholas’ kiss. He pressed the man into the door, his lips eager, his hand sliding over the man’s side, neck, and into his hair.
He paused long enough to say, “I’m Nick.”
“Gerald,” the man croaked. Then his hands took hold of Nick’s lapels, pulling him into another kiss. Nick’s hand slid back down, over Gerald’s hip, and covered the curve of a buttock. Breaking the kiss with an audible smack, he jerked Gerald’s hips toward his own, their matching erections crushed against one another.
“I haven’t been with a man in months,” Gerald admitted. “I’m not sure I remember how.”
Nicholas tilted his hips, rubbing one phallus against the other. Gerald’s eyes closed and his head tipped back against the door. “I think you’ll be surprised what you remember.”
Gerald’s hand gripped Nick’s waist, struggling to remain upright while keeping Nick from moving away. Nick had no plans to do that. Instead, he turned with the other man until Gerald’s thighs bumped the bed behind him. He sat heavily, his balance gone. Nick took advantage of the lack to tuck his fingers down the front of Gerald’s pants, brushing his erection with his fingertips.
“Fuck, yes.” Gerald fumbled with his belt, eager to discard the troublesome clothing. Nicholas let him, stepping out of his own garments with an economy of movement. Knees pressed into the mattress, Nick straddled Gerald’s hips as his trousers fell to the floor. Lifting the other man’s shirt, Nick’s erection slipped under it, laying against Gerald’s belly. He rocked forward, moving his cock against the other man’s skin while removing the shirt to expose a dark, wiry hair-covered chest.
Gerald’s cock slid up behind Nick’s, nudging his balls and brushing the bottom of his ass. Nick’s movements teased himself, letting the hot prick poke at his asshole but not enter. With Gerald’s shirt removed, Nicholas resumed kissing him, fingers lost in the hair of his head and chest.
Thanks for stopping in for Tantalizing Tuesday. I have the next 200 words between Yuki and Eiko. There are more fantastic teases on the Blog.
Eiko licked her glistening fingers, covered in Yuki’s wetness. That made Yuki hunger for Eiko’s moist and earthy taste, surely it was similar to her scent. Pulling Eiko to the futon, she slid down.
“Yuki-chan!” She grabbed Yuki to pull her back up, but Yuki pulled apart Eiko’s swollen lips to lick from her pussy up to her clit. Eiko tasted even better than Yuki had expected. After only a moment, she returned to licking inside Eiko, over Eiko and eventually up Eiko, dragging her tongue over the center of her body, between her breasts.
Eiko’s breath was heavy and her eyes hooded when Yuki came close enough to kiss. Their lips missed and Eiko kissed Yuki’s neck while Yuki kissed her ear. Eiko held Yuki’s fingers to her sex at the same time as sinking her own into Yuki.
“Come with me,” she said. Doing just that, Yuki sank into a warm wet puddle next to her satisfied lover. They lay on their sides, gazing into one another’s eyes, until Yuki stomach grumbled, making them both laugh. Neither dressed, pulling on robes and sitting together to eat their cold supper.

I'm deviating slightly from the theme today. I don't have starships in any of my stories, but I do have a cross-ocean voyage in the 18th century that would be as daunting as launching into space. This voyage was further complicated by the passengers nature. Vampires among a very small population of humans and trying to avoid discovery have a rough ride. There are some perks, though.
Here are seven sentences from Investor, the fifth book in the Blue Moon House series. Get it on Kindle, Kobo or Nook.
Lynn's weight shifted, his tongue sliding over her skin as she rocked with the ocean they sailed on. Sophia used the same rhythm to drive herself deeper on his cock. Lift and fall, lift and fall. Seasickness had been a problem for Kate, but so far, Terrance had done nothing but enjoy the rocking.
He lay beneath the two women, covered, smothered and utterly content. His cock ached to come in Sophia, though the urgency had left with their kisses. Sophia leaned forward, her hands on his chest.

He crouched a little in the water and kissed my collar bone and the tops of my breasts. My breathing became ragged. Was he burning for this like I was? Meeting his lips, I wrapped my arms around his neck and crossed my legs behind him.
"You're sure?" he asked, his lips still touching mine.
I didn't answer, but instead pushed myself down on him. I knew there would be pain but didn't expect so little. Then I could think of nothing else, because he was in me.

Happy Hump Day! Thanks for joining me and the other MidWeekTease participants. I'm offering up another snip from Vampire, the upcoming Blue Moon House volume. Nicholas is learning how to control his feeding, but he plans on slaking more than his blood thirst. Here he indulges with the older madam of Blue Moon House.
“Famished.” He broke her skin and let the blood wash over his tongue. Fire scorched his blood at the same time it burned through hers. Hers was a lust attributed to the mysterious element in their mouths. His was the spark of life that came with hot, pumping blood.
He fought the urge to keep drinking, to keep the wound open. He wanted more, much more, but he also wanted to make Judith feel beautiful, adored, desired. Licking the bite, he pulled her dress free and began work on her undergarments. She jumped to his assistance, her fingers yanking at laces and ribbons. Nicholas traced the tops of her stockings, following the garters up, his fingers playing near, but not quite touching, her nether lips. He could feel the heat radiating from themre, doubtless wet as well. His bite had done as expected; now, to make the woman understand that he wasn’t simply using her. “You feel remarkable under my fingers, Judith. I can feel your beauty. I can hear your heart thumping, hear how beautiful you are. Your smell,” he said, working his nose around her ear and into her hair, “is subtle and lovely. My eyes can only confirm what all my other senses tell me, you are a beautiful woman. One I long to please.” He let his teasing fingers slip between the folds of her lips and she cried out, squeezing her legs around his wrist to keep him there.
He pulled free easily and pushed her hip back to the mattress, using his knee to hold her in place. “Come for me, Judith. Let me hear you.” His fingers spread her lips wider and slid into her, stroking.
“Oh, yes, Nicholas. I will come for you.” She squeaked. “I feel I am bursting already.”
“No, you aren’t there yet,” he told her, adding another finger and lapping at the wound on her neck.
She screamed, her blood staining her chest in a flush at the heat in her blood , her hips jumping, thrusting into his hand. He put a hand to her throat to hold her still. He couldn’t stop feeding, but he didn’t want to tear her throat apart.
“Yes, yes...oh.” Her last syllable fell on a sigh, followed by nothing. Her body went lax and Nicholas continued to drink.
Opening the door, Sophia shouted as she rushed inside. “Stop!”
Thanks for stopping in for Tantalizing Tuesday. I have the next 200 words between Yuki and Eiko. There are more fantastic teases on the Blog.
“Iee!” Eiko squealed, twitching away at first. “Yuki! What do you have?” she asked, her brown eyes hidden behind fluttering lids. She held more still when Yuki pressed the bullet to her again. “That feels so good.”
“Good,” Yuki replied, running her hand down Eiko’s back, feeling along the hollow of her spine, the top of her hips. Yuki arched as Eiko’s mouth returned to her nipple, nibbling and sending pulses of pleasure through her. One bite was harder than the others and Yuki gasped just as Eiko’s hips ground into her palm, rubbing hard on the vibrator.
“Yes, yes,” Eiko cried, resting her head on Yuki’s breast as she came. “Keep touching me, Yuki-chan.”
She giggled. “I wasn’t planning on stopping.”
“Good.” Eiko stole the vibrator away and pushed Yuki’s panties aside to put the vibrator on the flush red flesh, blood filling her to bursting.
Yuki cried more quickly and loudly than Eiko had. Her lover pulled the bullet away to let Yuki catch her breath, but before she’d done more, set it into her opening, pressing it all the way around. Yuki’s hips rocked and Eiko’s fingers, with the bullet, slid into Yuki.
I'm one of several authors writing exactly 100 words based on this photograph. Mine is rather dark, sorry. You can read all the flashers by visiting our blog.
Jamie imagined hot sand burning her feet until she waded into the surf and foam. A sea urchin slipped her notice and stung her, making her scream.
Blinking away tears, she focused. She squinting against the bright sun, feeling it sear her shoulders, making her wince and flinch.
Shaking her head, and biting her lip, she held her breath until the heat passed. Her vision filled with the image of her escape.
A man blocked her view. She wouldn’t meet his eyes, staring at his erection, her next torment.
“You can end this.”
Jamie imagined hot sand burning her feet.
What is in that booth? There are other great tastes on our blog.
Trusting her sisters, Nabiki entered the booth, silk curtain falling behind her.
“Another of Akiko’s daughters,” the man in the booth said. “Lovely as her sisters. Come here, child.”
He began easing her kimono open.
Nabiki fought, trying to keep the precious fabric wrapped around her. Their hands tangled and twisted, her nails leaving thin red lines on his skin. He wasn’t unattractive, or particularly old, but she was completely unprepared for his advance.
“Enough,” he said, trapping her fingers and kissing her neck. His mouth opened and his warm wet tongue pressed against her throat. Instantly, a heady musk filled her nose, distracting her. It made her head spin, her blood heat and flow into her cheeks and thighs. She had felt this, once or twice, around an older boy at school. She had only just begun enjoying touching herself, begun imagining herself with a man, but after inhaling his scent, it seemed all her skin prickled and tingled. Every brush of his fingers sent her awareness further from the festival to focus on his mouth, his fingers, the rod prodding her thigh. She was naive, but in that moment, knew what she wanted to do with it, knew instinctively where it should go.
His fingers released her, and her hands moved to his hair, holding his head to the crook of her neck, her breast as he exposed it.
He cupped one and sighed in content. “Even more endowed than your sisters. You are perfect,
How did he know her? Had he done this with her sisters? Why hadn’t they told her? If she’d known, she wouldn’t have fought, wouldn’t have hesitated.
Her precious kimono pooled on the tatami floor of the booth, but she didn’t join it. Instead, the man lifted her legs to wrap around his hips and pressed her into the wall. She almost expected the booth to shake and fall, but the wall was sturdier than she had imagined. It kept her upright as he had his way. His stiffness missed her sex but slid along, teasing her most sensitive parts. That rod and his matching pubic hair, rubbed at her until she was rocking in time with him.
His hands alternated, one cupping her hip while the other teased her breast and nipple. That returned to support her weight and the other drew lines inside her thigh. Eventually one snaked into her, spreading her open. She felt the heat building, wanted to feel more and go farther than she had imagined possible. Waves seemed to pick her up and toss her, each one higher and more violent than the last. The roughest one came when he speared her. It didn't hurt as she had been warned, it only threw her more than the others. Slightly softer, the rocking motion of the waves spread her open by crashing on that hardness over and over. Just like the waves, the heat peaked and ebbed more than once before he finished. Each peak had her clutching him, tightening her thighs, crying out while the heat burst from her. She panted and gasped, completely spent before he put her back on her feet and nudged her toward a stool.
Hello my lovelies. Did you know Blue Moon House is free? The first book in the series is available on all sites for $0.00. Can't beat that. Here's a teaser from Blue Moon House.
Pressing Julia’s face to the bed, Sophia’s hand came down hard, making Julia wince at the stinging. Then there was burning as Sophia’s teeth broke the skin of Julia’s left buttock. Another spank and another bite.
“Tell me you are prepared,” Sophia demanded.
“I-I am,” Julia stammered. Harry had instructed her to take extra iron and over-hydrate in anticipation of being fed upon this weekend. She expected Sophia wouldn’t be the only one to bite her. All these bites were quick though, small blood loss. Julia was sure the purpose was to put Sophia’s saliva into the wounds. It had an aphrodisiac effect, making Julia start to sway her hips as she became hotter and wetter. Sophia indulged her, fingers stirring her pussy only to stop and spank her again for several minutes, long enough for the edge of pleasure to recede into pain. Then Sophia would bite again and start fondling.

Yuki washed her hands and face before leaving to meet Eiko at the park. Eiko was as eager as Yuki to return to her apartment, so they picked up food rather than eating in a restaurant. The food got cold while Yuki undressed Eiko in her apartment’s doorway, only moving toward her bedroom when they were both down to underwear.
Eiko giggled and tickled Yuki when their kisses broke. “I know what you want,” she said.
Yuki froze, afraid she’d been too obvious, made the wrong choice. However, Eiko’s hand tugging her toward the bedroom took that fear away. She giggled too and toppled onto the mat beside Eiko, teasing along the top edge of her lacy red bra.
Eiko reached around to unfasten Yuki’s plain white bra, slipping it down her shoulders and sucking on one of Yuki’s nipples. Yuki sighed in pleasure and held Eiko’s face to her chest, trying to hug her rather than smother her. Eiko pushed her down and continued to suck one breast while fondling the other. Yuki reached to the side for her new toy and surprised Eiko. She rubbed the metal bullet into Eiko’s matching red panties before turning it on.
“The Dirty Hoe (M/M), Cedar Falls 12″ by Shea Balik Release Date: May 4, 2016
Welcome to Cedar Falls, a small North Carolina town nestled amongst
the Smokey Mountains where the people are friendly and the men are hot.
When Vail Sommerlin inherited a house from an estranged uncle in
Cedar Falls, he jumped at the chance to move away from his nosy mother,
who he loved too much to tell her to butt out of his life. He just
never dreamed that new life would include finding the man of his
When Lakota White first laid eyes on Vail Sommerlin, he knew he’d
found his soulmate. He was pretty sure his grandmother was laughing her
ass off if she was looking down at him right then. Probably even
shouting, “I told you so,” over and over again.
Warning: an attempted suicide and a corrupt mayor who is bent on
destroying the town once more instigates the zany characters of Cedar
Falls to band around the two and help in their own unique way.
Entering the cool interior of the Potter’s Cottage, Lakota headed to
where the vegetable seeds were kept. Red hair caught his attention. His
heart sped up as the head sporting all that red hair turned in his
direction. Wide blue eyes as clear as the summer sky stared at him.
Perfection. It was the only word that came to mind as he took in all
that pale skin, small lithe frame and lush lips just made for kissing.
So enamored, Lakota hadn’t even realized he’d stopped walking until
Jesse plowed into him.
A squeak alerted him that something was wrong. He forced himself to look
away from the beauty before him to stare down at the floor where Jesse
was sprawled on his ass.
Suddenly the red-haired man was there with another man, this one with
brown hair. They were both kneeling next to Jesse. The other man said,
“Did you just fall?”
Jesse, one of the most sarcastic men Lakota had ever met, said with utter sincerity, “No, I attacked the floor.”
The stunning redhead asked, “Backward?”
Jesse glared at Lakota, clearly blaming him for this, before answering
the beautiful man’s question. “What can I say? I’m freaking talented.”
Laughter like musical bells rose up around them and Lakota was sure he’d
never heard a more alluring sound. “Here.” The stunning redhead held
out a hand to Jesse. “Let me help you up.”
Once Jesse was once more on his feet, the sexy man Lakota couldn’t stop
staring at said, “I’m Vail Sommerlin.” He then pointed to the man next
to him. “This is Macon Roxley. We just moved to Cedar Falls.”
“Jesse Grant,” Jesse said. With another pointed glare he waved his hand in Lakota’s direction. “And this oaf is Lakota White.”
Those blue eyes fixed on Lakota once more and he knew he had to have
Vail. He couldn’t explain it, but there was something about the redhead
that spoke to his soul. Lakota had grown up deeply ingrained in his
Cherokee heritage. If there was one thing he knew, it was trust his
instincts and right now they were screaming that Vail belonged to him.
Reaching his hand out to shake Vail’s, electricity flowed between them.
Vail’s gasp when their skin touched, confirmed he felt it too. That
boded well for Lakota. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Not wanting to be rude to Macon, Lakota reluctantly let Vail’s hand go. “It’s nice to meet you, too, Macon.”
“So what brings you to Cedar Falls?” Jesse asked.
As much as Lakota desired to get Vail alone—preferably in a soft bed,
naked with his cock buried deep within that taut ass he’d gotten an
eyeful of when Vail had bent down to help Jesse—he also wanted to know
as much as possible about the handsome man who made his blood sing.
“My Uncle Calhoun left me his house after he died.” Vail shrugged. “So Macon and I have decided to live there.”
Lakota’s fingers curled into fists as he thought of this gorgeous
redhead sleeping with Macon. He wasn’t one to try and break anyone up,
but he might make an exception in this case.
Jesse’s face, on the other hand, lit up. “Oh? Are you two together?”
Both Vail and Macon looked horrified at the suggestion. Red hair and
brown hair shook vehemently. “No,” Macon said at the same time Vail
said, “Hell no. He’s my cousin.”
Instantly Lakota’s anger dissipated. But just because Vail wasn’t with
Macon didn’t mean he didn’t have a boyfriend. “Are you dating anyone?”
His gaze zeroed in on Vail, who shivered a little at the intensity of
“No. Why? You asking me out?” Apparently Vail wasn’t one who felt the need to beat around the bush. Lakota liked that.
The last thing he wanted to do was play games. It was why he didn’t date
very often. He couldn’t stand the way some men felt it necessary to
cause drama by not stating what they wanted. “Yes, I am.”
Lakota took a step closer, their bodies not quite touching. “Would you like to go out to dinner with me?”
Those blue eyes danced as Vail looked up at Lakota. “I would love to.”
So engrossed, Lakota completely forgot where they were or that there
were others around until Cortney walked up to them and said, “Oh, good,
Lakota, you found them.” She gave Vail a smile. “I hope Lakota was able
Jesse chuckled. “He’s helping all right. Helping himself to a date.”
Shea Balik has always had a vivid imagination with stories running
around in her head. Often her stories are taken from observations of
other people with her own spin. Traveling is one of her favorite ways of
fulfilling her passion of people watching. She’s still working on
traveling to every state within the United States, and has been to at
least half. Her favorite mode of transportation is the car, because she
feels it is the best way to see the country. Okay, okay. It may have
something to do with her being afraid to fly, no make that terrified.
Shea has always felt if we were meant to fly, we’d have wings. Not that
Shea won’t get on a plane, because she will, and does. After all, how
else does one get to Hawaii quickly?
For out of the country
traveling, Shea has been to every Caribbean country that cruise ships
visit, several times. Being a Floridian means easy access to ports and
cheaper rates. Although, now that she’s cruised so often, Shea gets
discounts for being a frequent cruiser. In a perfect world, Shea would
cruise around the world, but she don’t see that happening anytime soon,
unless she wins the lottery.
You never know, one day you
may spark her imagination for her next book.
Whether at home or traveling she is usually in front of her computer writing or curled up with a good book.
Alas, I am lacking in dances in my repertoire, but here is a little reel that might fit the theme. These seven paragraphs are from the most recent release in the Blue Moon House series, Investor.
Blurb:Terrance is fascinated with the vampires of Blue Moon House. When a fire leaves them homeless, he seizes the opportunity to put them in his debt and himself into their hearts. When they agree to his proposition of a new house in America, they set off on a voyage of wonder, danger and pleasure.
Context: Kate, a whore from Blue Moon House who joined Terrance and the vampires in their journey across the ocean, is discovering that she is no longer what she once was.
“Mister Ford, would you tell me if this lady is yours, or one of the others?”
Terrance smiled. “I don't know as it is business of yours, but I don't currently have a lady. However, there are several whose company I enjoy. Kate is a wonderful girl, don't you agree?”
“I do, and I think she deserves better than to be toyed with.” Devlin's expression was almost as hard as Kate's. It was difficult for Terrance not to chuckle at the pair of them.
“You do? Well, perhaps you need to take her from me.” Kate's mouth dropped open and Terrance did chuckle.
“I will?” Devlin asked. He seemed confused. “Well, then I shall. Come Kate, let me find us some refreshment.” He wrapped Kate's hand around his arm, leading her away. She glanced back at Terrance, shaking her head, but he shooed her on.
“Mister Ford?” another woman asked. He turned to find a lovely lady with hair nearly as fine and light as his own. Hers wasn't piled like so many in attendance, but fell down her back in a shimmering curtain. “Would you walk with me? My husband has been...unavailable lately. I was wondering if you might be...available.”
Terrance smiled, taking her hand. “I seem to be available.”
It's Friday! Time for some 100 word flash fiction. We're all writing about this photo. You can read all the flashers by hitting our blog.
“This feels weird.”
“Silence. Relax. Listen to the waves. Breathe.”
Terri tried to do as commanded, but it was so unnatural. Also, relax is one of the most difficult commands to obey.
Large warm hands spread oil over her back, not her ass, not her pussy or breasts, her back.
“Are you sure there isn’t something I can do?”
A palm smacked hard on her ass, but it was muted by the towel still resting there.
“Silence! I don’t want to have to remove that.”
She’d always prided herself on her obedience. Today, it was a herculean task.
Time for Nabiki to have her day in the sun! There are other great tastes on our blog.
A little more than a year later, Nabiki helped her mother unpack and unwrap the red and gold fabric. There was no younger sister lingering to watch her transformation, only the girl behind her eyes, the girl she still felt she was. Even as she was swathed in fabric, she didn’t see anything but a girl. Once her makeup was applied, she looked different, too pale, but not a woman. Finally her hair was gathered and pinned, making her look like her mother and sisters, but she felt like a girl wearing her mother’s dress and shoes, clunking around pretending to be grown up. She thought someone would object, make fun of her for trying to be a woman when she wasn’t.
She had started bleeding, that had happened shortly after the leaves fell last year. According to her mother and sisters, that was all that set a girl apart from a woman, but Nabiki didn’t feel different. She hadn’t acquired whatever quality it was that had changed Sakura a year ago.
It was Sakura, not Yukiko, who reminded them that father was waiting. She had chosen pink, but it was paired with green and brown, the leaves and bark of the cherry tree. Her smile for Nabiki was gentle, welcoming. “You look perfect,” she said. Nabiki wished she felt perfect, not like a fraud. She rose carefully, feeling the fabric tighten in places she didn’t expect. She shifted to ease it down, worried about pulling at the stitches. She was taller than either her mother or her sisters and the kimono seemed almost too small. It definitely held in the breasts that had swelled in the past year. Taking small steps, she shuffled to the door. Her sisters and mother each wore tall geta, elevating them several centimeters, but Nabiki wore her old, short ones. Any taller and the wooden sandals would poke out. Continuing her slow shuffling pace, she followed the others.
Arriving at the beach, Nabiki inhaled the salty sea breeze, her smile wide and her eyes closed. She had always loved the ocean and the waves she was named for. Every summer she came and swam, sometimes walking on the ocean floor, feeling one with the water. None of that could happen today, but she would be back.
Startled, she opened her eyes and stared at her sisters, guiding her away from their parents.
“Here, Nabiki,” Yukiko said to her. “Enter this booth.” Sakura began giggling as soon as she and Yukiko had stopped.
“Why?” she asked, curious at their response.
“Because you’re a woman now.”
Happy Hump Day! I'm participating in another boxed set, although this one won't be out for a few months yet. A Wicked Halloween will be full of Paranormal Romance, set in the home of witches, Salem! Here's an excerpt from my contribution, Ethereal Protector. Forgive me, I've given it a quick check, but this piece hasn't seen the editor yet!
Summer woke from her latest dream to the sense that someone was in the bed with her. She rolled over, half-expecting to find Paige or Gwen there. Why they would crawl into her bed, she couldn’t fathom. They hadn’t and the only one in her room was herself.
Grabbing her phone, she discovered it was too late to bother going back to sleep. It should be early enough that she could take the first shower and leave plenty of time for the others.
She brewed coffee and took it into the back yard. Paige had been disappointed to find there was a shed, but it wasn’t creepy and didn’t contain anything but pruning shears and a lawnmower.
“Not even a chainsaw.”
The memory was enough to make Summer chuckle. There were a couple of weedy flower beds along the fence line. The growing season was nearly finished, but everything was still green, including the dandelions. She idly pulled a couple up and dropped them when something stung her. Was there a bee?
Looking at her hand, she couldn’t see a mark or an insect. However, there were pink flowers behind all the yellow. “Hellebore.” She didn’t touch it, somehow knowing instinctively that it was the source of the stinging. How did she know that? She’d never seen it before, except in that dream. Uneasy, she stood and as she did, she caught the scent of another herb Mary Parker had been collecting. Mint, now that she’d spotted it, ran all through the bed and even into the lawn. She didn’t mind picking that and grabbed a handful to put in her water bottle. There were probably other herbs she could figure out in the bed, but the reminders from her dream were enough to send her back into the house.
Gwen stood in the kitchen, popping bread into the toaster. “Good morning.”
“Good morning. Help yourself to the coffee.” Summer took a sip before setting the mint in the sink to wash.
“Mint. There’s a whole bunch in the flowerbed. There’s probably other stuff too, but this is what I found first.”
“What are you going to do with it?” Gwen pulled down a mug and filled it with coffee.
“Put it in my water bottle.” Summer pulled out her container of yogurt and scooped some into a bowl. She had strawberries to add to it, then took that to the table along with her coffee.
“That’s a good idea. It’s just out back?”
“Yeah, but I won’t use all of that. Go ahead and grab some.”
Gwen’s toast popped and she buttered it. “If you’re sure, thanks.” She joined Summer at the table just as Paige stumbled it, her frizzy black hair matted slightly on one side and sticking straight out on the other. Summer and Gwen both put a hand to their own hair and Summer couldn’t help but laugh when she saw her own reaction reflected.
Does Yuki make it home with her embarrassing purchase? Don't forget to read all the other teasers on the blog.
The vibrator was less expensive than Yuki had expected and although she still thought she might die of embarrassment, she set the vibrator on the counter knowing she’d chosen correctly. The woman behind the counter opened the package and checked the battery hidden inside. She deftly turned the device on and off while she asked if Yuki needed lube or cleaner. She had none of Yuki’s unease, handling the toy and cleaner as though they were ordinary purchases. She wasn’t loud or forward, but demure and servile. Yuki wished she could be so composed. While Yuki payed, the toy and cleaner, no lube, were set into a plain, opaque bag that gave no indication what was inside or where it had been purchased.
On her walk home, she imagined all the places she might please Eiko. After making and eating lunch, she sat on her futon with the bullet in her hand. Intending to wait for her partner, she watched it shiver around her palm. The vibrator didn’t go into her panties, rather her other hand teased her clit and pressed fingers into herself, imagining Eiko at her fingers, the vibrator on the other woman’s pink nipples while Yuki kissed her way down Eiko’s belly.
