Flasher Fiction Friday - The Hunt

The bright lights blinded her. They were meant to illuminate the temptations that surrounded, but they just burned, leaving green and pink after images when she blinked. This was meant to be a place of pleasure, of indulgence, but that was not her purpose. She was here to save someone. She didn’t know who, not yet, but if should find a moment of quiet, it would come to her. She tucked between two buildings and waited for the sparkling lights behind her eyes to disappear. Blocking out the cacophony, she made out a single voice.

“Trafalgar.”

The hunt was on.

  1. You certainly know how to leave us in suspense. Excellent descriptions. I was right there. I could sense the painful lights. And what of Trafalgar? I'd love to find out more

  2. I seem to always be mirroring the comments of others on your posts, but ditto on Naomi. I could FEEL the painful colors of the lights, hear the cacophony of noise and feel the cramps as I sit, crouched. Delightful cliffhanger of a flash. I haven't a clue whay she would need a password to save someone, but that makes it all the more mysterious. Loved it!....................Trafalgar ***shhhhhhhh***. xo
