I shudder to think of not knowing where my loved one is, if he is even alive, what might be done to him. My imagination can draw up all forms of terror and yet, I'm sure, it isn't a match next to the flame of reality.
In recognition of all POWs I'm giving away a copy of either Campus Sexploits 3 or Blue Moon House to a commenter. This hop lasts until the end of the week, so that is when I will draw a winner. Let me know what you think about Prisoners of War.
Thank you for being a part of this hop. This is a topic that is very near to my heart as I come from a long line of military men...All the way back to the Civil War and more recently, my son has enlisted this year. I am very proud of our men and women who serve. I say "Thank You" You are what makes this country great.
ReplyDeleteI can't begin to imagine the loss that comes from having someone listed as POW or MIA. I am very fortunate that my family members have come back home. I am hopeful for my son as well.

Thanks so much for joining in -- I'm hoping next year will be bigger and more successful for such a worthy cause
ReplyDeleteI really admire military personnel and their families...they're so brave, and do so much! I haven't read too many POW stories, since they sound so intense, but it's an issue that we, as a society, tend to forget about, I think.

I am very thankful for all the men and women that defend our country. Freedom is in no way free, and all too often people have to pay the ultimate price.
